Ragbrai Entry Cost: $140.00 per person for the week.
Brancel Charters Cost: $240 per person for the week.

This Is The Game Plan
Ragbrai requires us (as a group or team) to send one check/payment for our entire group. If we enter as a group and don't get selected, our money will be refunded.
Our group Deadline will be Jan-15-2009. This means I'll need payment for Ragbrai forms in my hands no later than Jan-15-2009. This will give us enough time to get everyone's paperwork in order and off to Ragbrai..via mail. Registration forms need to be filled out with checks made payable to: Twisted Spokes Bike Club.
Once our group gets selected by Ragbrai, we will all be given a Ragbrai Number. At that time we can sign up for Brancel Charters (BC). I'll let you know when the payment deadline is for BC. BC will not accept anyone with outout a Ragbrai Number. I have reserved 20 spots with BC until we get our Ragbrai Numbers. Those of you who do not wish to use BC will be on your own for your transportation while in Iowa.
After we've gotten our Ragbrai Numbers and all is a go... we will work on transportation out to Iowa and back. Kris Parsons plans on driving his large van (from Wellsboro) that can take most of our gear and bikes. Arrangements will be made for drivers and cars closer to the event date.
People coming from other regions other than Wellsboro are welcome to make their own arrangements for travel to Iowa. We will just meet you there...

This service includes: Nightly camping, Transportation across the state of Iowa, cold beverages at days end under a shaded tent, generator to charge cell phones, daily papers, clean towel service (this is a bit extra and does cut into your beer money).....The service they provide us is well worth the extra money. I think anyone in the past that's used this service in our group will agree it's well worth it!!.
